Coffs Harbour Bypass Information

Temporary Road Access to Charlesworth Bay Resort

Due to Coffs Harbour Bypass roadworks, the Charlesworth Bay Road intersection with the Pacific Highway is currently closed. Please follow the temporary detour below.

Travelling from the North

• Continue south on the Pacific Highway.
• Take the Diggers Beach Road exit (opposite the Big Banana).
• Follow Diggers Beach Road, then turn left onto Firman Drive.
• Continue to Charlesworth Bay Road and turn right into the Resort precinct (Bay Rd)
• Shortly after, turn left on Resort Drive and head to Reception
• Watch this for help finding Reception

Travelling from the South

• Exit the Pacific Highway via Arthur Street (near Home Base shopping centre).
• Exit the roundabout towards Arthur Street
• Turn left onto Manning Avenue
• Turn left onto Richmond Drive and drive over the large hill.
• At the base of the hill, turn right onto Diggers Beach Road.
• Shortly after, turn left onto Firman Drive 
• Continue to Charlesworth Bay Road and turn right into the Resort precinct (Bay Rd)
• Shortly after, turn left on Resort Drive and head to Reception
• Watch this for help finding Reception

Leaving the Resort

All departing traffic should:

• Follow Charlesworth Bay Road to Firman Drive.
• Continue along Diggers Beach Road, Manning Avenue, and Arthur Street to Park Beach Plaza.
• At the roundabout, you can:
  • Turn left to head south on the Pacific Highway.
  • Continue around the roundabout to head north on the Pacific Highway.

Please allow a few extra minutes for your journey while these temporary traffic arrangements are in place.
