About Coffs Harbour

With all the fabulous facilities at your fingertips, don’t be surprised if you’re happy just to relax in the lush resort grounds. But if the urge takes you, there’s plenty to explore in Coffs Harbour and the surrounding area. For example, right next door to the resort is the National Marine Science Centre with an aquarium and fascinating displays. Just down the road from the resort is the iconic Big Banana – an unmissable photo opportunity! A little further east is the stunning Forest Sky Pier at Sealy Lookout which provides panoramic views up and down the Coffs Coast. The family friendly Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary is an 8-minute drive from the resort. All of the beaches around Coffs Harbour are pristine and relatively quiet. They provide endless walking and sunbathing opportunities as well as good surfing and swimming. During winter, whale watching boat trips are a must do activity. The surrounding coastal villages including Sawtell to the south of Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga to the North are well worth taking a day trip to.

If you haven’t driven to the resort then you might want to hire a car or you can simply grab a cab from the airport and spend your time relaxing and unwinding at the resort. Coffs Harbour Airport is just a 15-minute drive away. We can arrange airport transfers for an additional charge. Charlesworth Bay Beach Resort is close enough to town to enjoy the convenience but far enough away to soak up the tranquillity of our surroundings.
